Nehemiah was a great prophet. He was instrumental in rebuilding a wall that had been tattered and broken down in Jerusalem by enemies. His efforts to rebuild the wall rekindled hope and faith to inhabitants of Jerusalem.One of his most notable sayings is the one we can still find truth and comfort in today. To come into deeper understanding of God’s joy being found in your strength it is important to note the context in which Nehemiah communicates this statement to his people at that particular period and time in Biblical history. “The joy of the lord” is associated with strength a number of times in the Bible.
