Neo-Soul, R&B legend Maxwell recent releases and croons in his magnificently soulful style, Al Green's "Simply Beautiful" and his version is simply wonderful. Reminiscent of the slow and melodic songs that he has made famous and is widely known for with classic hits such as Fortunate, Ocean,Pretty Wings, Ascension, Lifetime and others, it's as much an homage to Al Green as a welcome demonstration and testament to Maxwell's award-winning vocal skills.
