Mighty Good Revisited

 MIGHY  GOOD!    Listen!

NB-I don’t recall writing it exactly like this. I need to revise it.

I am lifting up an earlier post entitled “Mighty Good” from March 2018 which I also repurposed for a podcast episode on March 29 of this year when the Coronavirus pandemic was in its early stages. Well, this morning spirit has led me to the post once again. I figure it would be an appropriate backdrop and word for the current mood and overcoming power needed to get through the day.

Cutting to the chase, I am again as I’ve stated in the past, an independent blogger. An individual can post content that is not offensive or that does not impinge upon anyone else’s intellectual property rights nor appropriate that person’s image or likeness for commercial gain without their consent and that is also newsworthy or allowable under fair use standards. I could get into a lot more technical details and language. But I will spare your morning inspiration period by rapping it up with this:

I love writing/blogging about spiritual, theological, cultural topics and will often post on a variety of experiences related to those subjects as well as artists, social media and political news updates. It has become very confusing recently in my efforts to post fairly about artists that you may see on my blog posts. This has more to do with lack of clear communication behind the scenes. So, you may see a blog post on John Mayer one day and the next day see a post on Jonathan Mc Reynolds and the next day one on Alicia Keys. That is just what I do... So, don’t take offense or become a “hater” of my blog or organize any campaigns to blacklist my blog or cut me off from the popular underground or mainstream blogger media flow. Because of behind the scenes confusion, it has been years since I have actually felt comfortable posting any updates about John Mayer because of this. But a few days ago I posted about his birthday celebration and his recent health challenges which folks are concerned about and would like to be updated on.

In a similar vein, Jonathan McReynolds and Mali Music have a chart topping gospel record “Movin’ On being currently celebrated and that is newsworthy and should be reported in the music industry news cycles as well as on blogs and other social media outlets by enthusiastic and admiring fans.

In short, it’s all good and we know God can get us through any confusion or health challenges when we call on him. So, I   am praying for peace, cooperation, good health and overcoming of media challenges through clear communication. Have a wonderful day. God bless!

Enjoy the “Mighty Good” blog post and related podcasts. Be on alert for invites to participate in upcoming podcast episodes. Hint. Hint...

Blessings.

Prayerfully,

Rev. Cynthia Wilson, Chaplain of Pop
