The drive-in experience included ballot drop-off, PPE, essentials, and food giveaways for thousands at the Forum in Inglewood, CA. Portions of the LA event will be live-streamed on the streaming platform, TIDAL, for members and non-members alike. Hosted by Angela Rye and Terrance J with sounds by D-Nice, scheduled performances include, Azjah, Danieleigh, Kaash Paige, Tinashe, and more.
Guest performers included among those listed above, Gospel recording artists Doe Jones and Jonathan McReynolds. For more information Google Elect Justice Tidal and the relevant URLs will spring up in your search field. I’ve been trying for several days to post about the event on this and the Heavier Octaves blog but I have been running into considerable technical difficulty. But a shout out to the enthusiastic participants, musicians and sponsors. Hallelujah anyhow! Folks are certainly pumped up about voting all over the country because of events like this and individual volunteers canvassing neighborhoods and telephone calls being made encouraging folks to vote. An incredible job is being done all around by grass roots organizations such as Elect Justice, the Democratic Party and other efforts of star, political and celebrity power.

Happy Birthday🎂 🎊🎉😇John!
John Mayer who celebrated a birthday on October 16 wrote a very thoughtful post on his Instagram page about those who are challenged with the COVID-19 virus. He also expressed appreciation to all of his fans and well wishers who have taken the time to send him get well cards and offer up prayers for his recovery from illness. John has always been blessed with a strong and supportive fan base who have backed him up with a community of care and concern for almost two decades.
John we are praying for you mightily that you will recover and be back on your feet again soon. God is a miracle worker and can turn the situation around. May God bless and keep you.
John, drink plenty of Green tea that has been steeped with a cinnamon stick and have aromatherapy diffuser going with lavender essential oil. Alternate between lavender and cinnamon essential oil. No alcoholic beverages.
My Prayer for John song poem excerpt in upcoming book on a Poetry Saturday podcast.
Some pics I’ve snapped of you and photos of concert events over the years
Dems Protest Barrett SCOTUS Nomination with Boycott Effort
Democrats protest Senate Judiciary Committee vote to confirm Judge Amy Barrett to the Supreme Court by expressing their discontent in an organized boycott. In what has by all accounts been a lightening speed effort by Republicans to swiftly ramrod Judge Barrett’s Supreme Court nomination through the Senate where the voting deck is stacked in their favor. They have wasted no time in taking maximum advantage of the opportunity. Little time out or political reprieve was allowed for public grieving over the loss of Supreme Court Justice and cultural icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg. A Supreme Court replacement was announced by Trump just a few days after RBG’s death and the nomination process begun almost immediately thereafter. It has just been a month since her passing and less than 10 days before the Presidential election. Today Democrats plan a show of force in demonstrating their disapproval of the Republican power grab in an effort to rouse public opinion that could sway the presidential vote and slow down the pace of the nomination process. Though it seems unlikely that will occur considering the momentum they have gained so far in relation to the nearness of the November election. Pray for a miracle. If you have joyful visions of an Obama court in the future.
